What will my cancer death be like?

I have had an extremely rare cancer. I have undergone radiation but things are grim. I have been left with what is called "the world's worst pain" trigeminal pain (damaged nerves from radiation). I am on huge amounts of narcotics and opiods etc. Cancer societies both USA and Canada can not put me in touch with other trigeminal sufferers. It is like being hit by lightening dozens of times a day. My quality of life is at an all time low. I have lost all my teeth from radiation too. weight dropping. My cancer is not resolved and I have declined chemo. Brain tumour inoperable. I don't want the next 10 years or so of pain if I get them. Is there a humane way to end this? Is there legal euthanasia anywhere? And suggestions? I can't enjoy much anymore. No one can understand this pain its far worse then any major tooth pain or migraine. Advise?? My last son leaves home soon and I will be all alone 16 hours a day. I am scared. I hate being alone. I want to die quick and painless.

Are "silent" CPU fans worth it?

My PC gets louder the more I ask it to do. I'm running Windows XP Pro on a 2.93 Celeron chip on a ECS motherboard with 2 GB of DDR ram. When I run multiple taks it gets louder and louder. I was thinking of replacing the PSU. Are there quiet PSU's on the market? What I have now is the bottom of the barrel cheapie PSU. My CPU fan and heatsink is reletively clean, so I don't think that is the problem. I upgraded the CPU fan to a Coolermaster "silent" fan when I built this thing. My impression is less than satisfied with that. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Why whenever i lay down on my right side, the room spins?!?!?

When i go to bed in the night and lay down(on my right side), my entire room looks and feels like it is spinning back and forth and up and down extremly fast. It is quick, jerky, violent movements and sometimes it gets so bad that i feel like i will fall off my bed or i cant distinguish one object from another becuase they are moving so fast. Wht would an employer take out federal taxes on some paychecks and not others?

I worked for the same employer this entire year as well as last. Federal taxes taken out last year on 45000 annual was about 950. Federal taxes taken out this year on 47000 annual was 260 for the whole year. Exemptions were not changed between the 2 years. this year, they took federal taxes out on some checks and took no federal taxes out on other checks, even when the gross pay for those checks were the same. Why would they do this?

Yes, I am sure about my produce-I grow my own, and know exactly whats in or on it. I use an indoor hydroponic garden with grow lights for year round gardening, and plant outdoors during the season. Try Avidemux. It should handle the H264 codec just fine. When you are finished editing, just choose 'copy' under the video and audio options, so it doesn't re-encode everything. That's not necessary to do and it will save the video much faster that way too. Also, I would choose a better container format than (mov), like the (mp4) or the (mkv) container. Avidemux will let you do that too. Good luck.

I am reading about 50 pages in an hour and am losing concentration easily. I am not the fastest reader, but I'm not that slow either. I have had to read things over and over. I also have a math test tomarrow and a Honors Biology test Tuesday which I have to do well and need to study today. I also have to do a thing for theatre today. He is giving us a quiz on the Hot Zone Tuesday. It's not that big of a deal if I fail, because we have like 50 other quiz grades. I want to do good though. I also hate Science and that's the book. I am so stressed out, and it's giving myself a headacke. I also have Church tonight to top it all off. Can you give myself some advice? Any feedback is welcome. There is about 422 pages in the book. My so called "friend w/benefits" that I've only known a month has been "sick" this last weekend. He hasn't been calling or texting me like he usually does several times a day. Best breed for our lifestyle?

Hey, we've had pets for quite a few years now and we've finally managed to convince our parents to consider getting a dog. We've been doing a lot of research but can't settle on a breed yet, so we need a little help. We're not too fussed about size, but I don't think we could have anything too large. We have a medium/large sized garden, and a medium sized house. Our garden is completely secured (we know because our neighbours have 7 dogs, sized between a weimeraner and a chihuahua puppy, and they don't get in). As far as children, there are three teenage daughters. We all have pet experience, including dogs, cats and horses.We currently own a giant French Lop rabbit. She's harmless and doesn't scare easily, and lives in a secured hutch outside. If neccesary we can take measures to ensure that the dog is kept away, but we would prefer a dog that could get on with her. We live on a private road, meaning we get very little footfall or traffic, and the village is very safe and quiet. We have a wood and park at the end of our road, where we can take regular walks, and although we will not be able to take very long walks each day, we would be willing to take the dog on long walks on the weekend and holidays. The dog will be allowed access to the garden, and there will be somebody with it either out and about or inside pretty much all day, perhaps with the exceptions of a few times a week when we are driven to school. Obviously, we plan to train the dog in general obedience, and perhaps some tricks if the dog requires extra stimulation. Sorry for the essay, but we want you to have a thorough idea of our lifestyle. It was bad enough to land me in hospital, where they gave me morphine.The next day I had an ultrasound which showed that I have some small fibroids, but no cysts. When the dr did the laparoscopy he couldn't see the right side of the pelvis very well (probably due to the fact that I am overweight) but he what he did see was normal. (no endometriosis.) He said I have a "bulky uterus" which I am uming is from the fibroids. However, I am still experiencing the same pain in the right ovary as before. It is not constant, but when it does flare up the pain is extreme. I'm at the point where I'm considering a hysterectomy and right oophorectomy which would mean I would not go into early menopause. But before I take this drastic measure does anyone have any other advice? Would a CT scan or MRI show anything more definitive? Thanks.......

Double Jeopardy Question?

One of my students asked a good question today about the 5th amendment's double jeopardy law, which states that a person can't be tried for the same crime twice using the same facts. If a person is put on a trial and found not guilty of a murder, but later on they find DNA evidence linking that person to the murder, does the double jeopardy rule still apply? Some websites say yes, that you can't be tried twice for the same crime, so that's why prosecutors want to get all the evidence they can the first time around. Yet other websites say no, the double jeopardy rule does NOT apply because even though you are putting the person on trial twice for the same crime, you are using DIFFERENT evidence, not the same set of facts you used in the first trial. Hey guys. Next week I am going for an interview to try to get a place to go visit a third world country to see what actually happens over there and to try to help them. Why does my mom act like this?

All of a sudden, my mom wants me to be more like her. We were at the mall today and I got some new clothes, and when we were in the car going home, she was like "Why don't you dress more conservative and preppy? I WANT you to be more preppy! I want you to dress the way I did in high school." I'm in high school now (10th grade) and she wants me to wear what she wore back in like, 1985; khaki pants, polo shirts, and loafers. Uhhmm. Having a hard time making a decision about wedding?

My fiance` have been engaged since XMAS 2009. We want to get married but unfortunately we have cirstances that keep us from doing so. Money. We moved in together in March and have been paying the rent and bills on time. The big problem is gas. My fiance commutes 45 min/ 5 days a week @ $400/mth. This is killing us. He has put in for a transfer to get a position closer to home. We also have been looking at getting a fuel efficient car IF the transfer wont happen. We also want to have kids. Neither one of us have any (I'm 33 he is 38). We held true to not have a baby mama daddy scenario. But we found out I have a fallopian tube blockage and I have to get IVF. This will cost $10K because neither one of our insurances will cover it.On top of that I have diabetes and my A1C is 8.6%. My dr wants to shoot for 7% BEFORE I go in for IVF. Our wedding-we want something small just family and close friends, 100 or less. We were thinking about going away to Vegas, USVI, or Jamaica, just us. But I want both of our parents to see us get married. Then I think I should marry in my church I grew up in. Then its like should we marry before the IVF treatment? They'll do a hands on exam of the cyst, and maybe order a mammogram if they feel the need. Even if it is just a cyst it may need to be surgically removed before it gets any bigger or anything. Any bowlers out there???

180 is a ok average for a man, and a pretty darn good average for a woman. I started bowling when I was 19, and my 3rd year I was at 180. I got up to 206 average a couple years ago and have 1 "300" game under my belt which I shot 10 years ago. I don't bowl as often as I used to, but I can still average 200+ without any problem. I'll give you 1 tip, try to stay as consistant as possible and make all your spares.

Does the whole "Step Up + 2" franchise address what's the real promblem with Hollywood concerning A-Americans?

I mean this trend is starting to get so popular now in H-wood. The sequel like the previous is an urban film / culture, yet the protagonist and main leading characters are white. Exploit the culture and make a profit. Maybe the female character was suppose to be black, but having a black female lead and two white male love interests was too touchy/taboo for the film makers? I don't know, but i do know this that in Hollywood an urban movie or any movie with 2 leading black characters is considered "A Black Movie" and therefore will not sell well b/c it's only meant to be seen by blacks. But any kind of movie, even if it's clearly an urban film with white leading characters is considered "A Movie" - for the whole family/everyone to see. This is the real reason why the protagonist and main characters are white. It's a strategic American marketing tool to cast them for the roles, no matter how urban the film is. I have a question about gas mileage for my 1992 Ford Tempo?

I recently bought a used 1992 Ford Tempo that had a redone engine about 70,000 miles ago. I am getting horrible gas mileage on this car. I changed the air filter, fuel filter, and did a fuel injection cleaning. When I drive at 70 MPH the engine revs up to 3500 RPM and I cannot find any overdrive en ANYWHERE in the car. I have had this one friend tell me that the reason my gas mileage is bad is because it is not kicking into overdrive and that I need to take it to a mechanic. I don't want to take it to a mechanic if I don't have to because it will cost a fortune. Can anyone give me advice? Do you think it is the overdrive? If you go down to 100 lbs, your BMI will be 16.5, which will put you way underweight. Being underweight can be unhealthy just like being overweight can. Just tell those people who've said you've gained some pounds to go f off. There's nothing wrong with your weight; you sound pretty in shape to me.

Bottom line, we are just starting to be able to reestablish our credit. No place , loan or rental property would take us because of medical debt. This company does not do a credit check, they do income verification and criminal history. You have to make a minimum of 52gs to live in this subdivision. They dont check credit cuz they claim even good people fall on bad times. Maybe they saw us coming!!! We ARE NOT bad people and my husband makes ok money, about 70gs. Stilll we never could find a place to live till this past october. There is a subdivision that says Luxury Homes for Rent. We stop, just to see. The houses are by no means luxury, but they are cute quaint little houses. Each future home is atop a five acre plot. They had one display home that they showed us, a two story and another, a one story in the process of being built. We chose the two story home, they said the house they would build for us would be EXACTLY the same, after all they were using blueprints right?Now as they are moving along , they have changed the house drastically. They omitted a storage closet for coats and vacuums etc., their reason for that, the house is on a basement instead of a slab, we apparently dont need that space upstairs. When we asked about it, they said they could build us one in, but it would cost us extra!! The upstairs was to consist of two bedrooms and a bonus room. The bonus room was to be an unfinished room, no carpet and no paint, basically just a storage room, a big one at that. The dimensions in the house they showed us for the bonus room were 28'9" x 8'11". Now in our house the bonus room is 28'9"x 12'8". This increase in space drastically reduced the size of the bedrooms, by about 3'11".The landlord says he changed it for his resale value, so that the bonus room could be turned into two more bedrooms when and IF he goes to sell. Keep in mind he is not finishing this for us though, he just increased a giant waste of space, at our expense. The display home was about 1550 sq. ft. not counting the bonus room, with it its about 1800sq. ft. I am beside myself, and if you ask me a 5 bedroom house crammed into 1800 sq. ft. with 2.5 baths is not a selling point, its a motel!!!! My question I guess is, can he do this? We really feel like we are getting screwed, we are paying 1600 month for rent, and more than half the upstairs isnt even going to be functional. What can we do??? We wouldnt have signed this lease if we were just seeing this house for the first time, we would say thanks but no thanks, the layout is stupid!! Please help!!

Loestrin 20 or Microgynon 30?

GP offered those 2 types of pill and Im totally confused which ones to choose.... Im on Yasmin at the moment but after a year of use started to get all the side effects like spots, mood swings, super low libido(same happened with Marvelon) Wanted to change to Mercilon but GP was really reluctant to prescribe it to me so offered Loestrin 20 or Microgynon 30. never heard of Loestrin so quite reluctant to start using them but on the other hand Microgynon is the 2nd generation pill,isn't it?? It disappointments me that cds are going out. I like to have a physical copy of the music not only as a backup, but also so i can play them in a cd player. I would say $200 on your old setup. You are thinking about upgrading from a 4" to a 5" scope. Personally, I would go for a 6" if you really want more light gathering ability where you can really see a difference. Even if it means waiting another month or two to save the extra$$$$. You will then have a scope that can be resold easier if you decide to go bigger eventually. a 4 or 5" scope is harder to resell. Meade makes nice products.

when you think about it, 5 hours is between one fifth and a quarter of the whole day. Its alright for them to be watching fun kiddy shows, but you need to consider how many hours they are awake for too. I think so long as they are getting excercise and spending a few hours outside playing and imagining every day then its okay for them to watch that much tv. But tv isnt a baby sitter, and no one ever got healthy sitting infront of one, Just use your judgement on this.

I have a diabetic dog?

My dog was just hospitalized for 3 days with pancreatitis and is now a diabetic. The vet gave him chicken breat for 3 days so he would eat. Now that I have him home, he will not eat his dog food. He only wants chicken. I have tried everything from mixing dog food with chicken, chicken broth, chicken baby food. He will pick out the chicken and leave the rest is I use chicken and if I only use broth or baby food, he won't eat at all.
