Gastric byp and lap band surgery mother of one?

I am 26 years old, 5'2 and weigh 225lbs. I got approved yesterday for bariartric weightloss surgery. My doctor says I can do either one. I really am stumped. I have researched both , however I still do not know which one I should choose. I am leaning more towards lap band because I want more children however, I am scared I will not lose enough weight,. Help
