The Hot Zone by Richard Preston advice?

I have to read this book for AP Human Geo by this tuesday. He told us this in August, and have had the book for a couple months now. I have been very busy with school, and haven't had time, lol. I really don't procrastinate, but I have just been stressed and had too many other things to do. I have been concentrared on my Accel Int Algebra I since I am hardly ping the cl. I now I have started to read The Hot Zone yesterday and I am on page 124 as of now. It is the worst book I have ever read. I'm more of the historical fiction type person who would read things about The Titanic, Holocast, WWI, and the revolutionary war such as the book "My Brother Sam Is Dead." I am reading about 50 pages in an hour and am losing concentration easily. I am not the fastest reader, but I'm not that slow either. I have had to read things over and over. I also have a math test tomarrow and a Honors Biology test Tuesday which I have to do well and need to study today. I also have to do a thing for theatre today. He is giving us a quiz on the Hot Zone Tuesday. It's not that big of a deal if I fail, because we have like 50 other quiz grades. I want to do good though. I also hate Science and that's the book. I am so stressed out, and it's giving myself a headacke. I also have Church tonight to top it all off. Can you give myself some advice? Any feedback is welcome. There is about 422 pages in the book. It also has been using bad words in it which is suprising since I am just 14. This book isn't even for people my age at all... Thanks, I am going back to reading this terrible book.
