What is the cheapest scotch that tastes similar to erscotch?

I've been wanting to try scotch for a while and I love the taste of erscotch, so a liquor with that sort of flavor has always had an appeal to me. I however in my curiosity have been reading a little bit and have only found mention of one type of scotch really resembling a erscotch flavor, and that scotch was aged 25 years and very expensive. So I was wondering if anyone knew of a scotch that wasn't that expensive that still retained that kind of flavor.
