How do I toilet train my 5 mth old pup?

everytime he wees tell him 'no' straight away, rub his nose in it and put him straight outside or the place you want him to wee. dont be soft but also if your not there to see him do it or your out then come back and realise hes done it dont tell him off..he would have forgotten hed done it and the telling off wouldnt actully benifit him.worked every ime for me.
