Naruto's ninja rank in shippuden?

I'm basing on the latest manga of naruto. well, i really think naruto has grown a hell lot even from the beginning of shippuden, not only did he accel on jutsu's and technique, he is now more wise now and not so thick headed anymore as he was in the beginning. So i think he is capable of being the hokage(6th or 7th hokage) or the next sannin.BUT wat really pissed me off that his official rank right now is GENIN.AWWW.but if he was to go into the chunin exam it might not be even fair for other genins.LOL. So give me your opinion!
