Charlie Sheen said someting about World Trade Center and 9/11 Zeitgeist movie why did CBS not like this?

Charlie sheen made comments about World Trade Center and 911 and some movie Zeigtgeist is this why the Networks are really angry at him? They never seemed to have a problem with his personal partying ways before for 10 years. Then all of a sudden Charlie sheen mentions the World Trade Center and 911 and the movie Zeigtgeist and they fire him? What is this really about? What is it that CBS does not want the public to know?
